Madrid: Luis Suarez is close to joining Atletico Madrid as a free agent. Atletico Madrid would sign the Uruguayan after Ronald Koeman informed Suarez that he doesn’t count on him for this season. Atletico, who would be looking to finance this move by selling Alvaro Morata to Juventus.
The Italian side showed interest towards the Spaniard, as their chase of Suarez might not go through. According to various sources, Morata would sign a deal of £9.2m for a season-long loan with a £41.2m option to buy.
Although Suarez flew to Italy a few days back to take an exam to secure an Italian passport so that he is not considered as a foreign signing.

There’s also an option to extend the loan until June 2022.
Personal terms agreed until 2025.
