China : India confirm 100 medals in Asian Games as the end of the event is close by. This year is India’s highest medal tally compared to other Asian Games seasons.

On day 13 of the Asian Games , HS Prannoy signed off with bronze in Badminton.

The day witnessed a spectacular victory of India’s Men’s hockey team against Japan to clinch gold. With this, the team has secured its place in Paris Olympics 2024.

India clinched a commanding victory over Nepal in the women’s kabaddi semifinal. The Indian women secured a straightforward 61-17 win, earning them a spot in the final. This victory also marks their highest score in the competition.

Indian archers win silver after losing to South Korea in men’s recurve team final at Asian Games. With its roaring performance, India is all set to cross its 100 mark in tally, with five more confirmed medals in different sports events.

A total of seven medals are confirmed for India. Three in archery, two in kabaddi and one each on cricket and badminton.

On the 13th day, an exceptional bowling performance by spinner Sai Kishore, combined with explosive batting displays from captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma, propelled India into the final of the cricket tournament at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou , clinching a heavy 9 wickets victory against Bangladesh. India confirmed medal in Cricket, and will face Afghanistan tomorrow.

Following their successful podium placements in men’s badminton, athletes HS Prannoy, Chirag Shetty, and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy have the opportunity to elevate their medals to silver if they can secure wins in the semi-finals.

In the afternoon session, India, the seven-time champions, will face their arch-rivals Pakistan in an eagerly anticipated semi-final clash in the men’s kabaddi competition at the Asian Games.

India secured a spot in the semi-finals by defeating Chinese Taipei 50-27 and then claimed the top spot in Group A with a convincing 56-28 victory over Japan. Their opponents, the Green Army, secured the second spot in Group B in Hangzhou.
