AC Milan sign Diogo Dalot on loan from Manchester United

Milan: Portuguese fullback Diogo Dalot has joined Serie A side AC Milan from Manchester United on a loan deal. The Rossoneri unveiled the signing on social media. The 21-year-old joined Manchester United back in 2018 but found it difficult to slot into the first eleven.

He was part of the Portugal side that won the 2016 UEFA U-17 Championship and went on to play the FIFA U-20 world cup in 2019.

 

Speaking about the move, Dalot explained, he said: “It feels good to start feeling confident again and feeling comfortable with my fitness. I’m going to push hard and make sure that I deserve to play here.”

“That’s why I signed to come here. I want to be the best right-back that I can be at Manchester United.They(injuries)are experiences that I need to live. It’s football and you need to be ready for this kind of challenge.

“Of course I was young when all this happened but in my mind, I am always trying to be positive and in the future, I’ll be strong, physically and mentally. I think I have the ability to play at right-back at this club and I need to show that,” he said.

Milan were looking to add you add young prodigies this deal to their side and managed to snap the loan deal with Portuguese looking to regain his form.
