Manchester: Napoli have officially completed the permanent signing of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United after a successful loan spell. The deal was confirmed by both clubs on Wednesday, bringing an end to the forward’s three-year stay at Manchester United.
Højlund spent the 2025–26 season on loan at Napoli and impressed with 16 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions. His contributions helped Napoli win the Supercoppa Italiana, secure a second-place finish in Serie A and confirm a direct spot to Champions League.
Reports suggest the transfer fee is worth around €50 million (£38 million–£43 million, depending on the structure of the deal), following a clause that became active when Napoli secured qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
