Kolkata : The Amateur Badminton League (ABL) 3.0 is all set to begin on June 20, 2026 at Spuddy Kolkata.
Team and composition –
After 2 electrifying seasons, the ABL is back for season 3 with strong tag line – “One League One Spirit” featuring 25 players and 5 teams – “Team A”, ” Team B”, “Team C”, “Team D”, ” “Team E”. All 5 teams will have 5 players each.
Time and Venue –
All matches will be played at Spuddy Kolkata, from 6 PM to 11 PM on 20th June, 2026.
Format :
Each teams (4 matches) will face each other in single round robin format in the group stage. There’ll be two courts. Games will include Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
After ten group matches, top four teams will qualify for semi final (1 vs 3, 2 vs 4). While winners will qualify for final to fight for the glory, losers of semi finals will play third place match.
Point System –
Winner of each match will get 2 points, while loser doesn’t get any. In case of a tie, the better difference and higher tie score will be declared the winners.
The five teams will fight for one glory in much awaited season 3. With the title at stake all 25 players are ready to give it all.
