Manchester: Cristiano Ronaldo crossed the 800th goal mark for club and country with a decisive brace against Arsenal. Manchester United defeated Arsenal by 3-2,coming from behind in a close encounter in Premier League at Old Trafford on Friday ( December 3).

On 44 minutes, Bruno’s strike helped United go into the break with a hope to return. As play resumed, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 800th goal and also gave United their lead on 52 minutes, as he converted a low cross delivered by Marcus Rashford. Martin Odegaard quickly helped the Gunners get hold of the equaliser on 55 minutes.

Ronaldo scored his brace from the penalty spot, when Fred was brought down in the area by Odegaard. The spot kick ensured the victory of United over Arsenal. This was Michael Carrick’s last game incharge, as he announced he will be leaving the club as Ralf Rangnick takes over. Carrick ended his interim spell with two wins and a draw. He drew against Chelsea and won against Arsenal.
