New Delhi: In a surprising development, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh on Tuesday, drops a hint that he’s likely to make a comeback in the gentlemen’s game in February next year.

The left-handed batsman was one of India’s prolific and most loved all-rounders without a shred of a doubt. The southpaw also won the Man of the Tournament award in the 2011 World Cup where the Men in Blue came out trumps, beating Sri Lanka in the final.

The star all-rounder shocked one and all in June 2019, when he came out for a press conference and announced his international retirement. During that period, he was diagnosed with cancer, but he made a comeback for Team India. In 40 Tests, 304 ODIs, and 58 T20Is, Yuvraj went on to score over 11,000 runs with 17 centuries and 71 half-centuries. When in full flow, the 39-year-old was hard to stop.

Taking to Instagram, Yuvraj revealed that he got a lot of messages asking him to make a comeback after India’s debacle in the marquee tournament, and hence on public demand, he would return. He has also urged the fans to keep supporting the Indian side during the tough times.

Yuvi informed his fans through a post on his Instagram, he posted a video which was his last international century against England in Cuttack. Where he scored 150 off 127 balls with the help of 21 fours and three sixes. In the backdrop, the famous Bollywood song Teri Mitti was playing in the video.

“God decides your destiny !! On public demand, il be back on the pitch hopefully in February! Ain’t nothing like this feeling! Thank you for your love and wishes to mean a lot to me! Keep supporting. it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times #jaihind.” he captioned the video.

The hard-hitting batsmen were last seen in action in the Road Safety World T20 series that saw a lot of star cricketers playing the game including the little master Sachin Tendulkar. While it remains unclear whether Yuvraj will be returning to play for India or in T20 leagues, or will be seen in any different role on the pitch. But the fans will be still excited that they get to see their favorite batsman one more time on the cricket pitch.
