Champions League: Barcelona anticipate next round qualification; Manchester United to hold on top spot

Donetsk: Barcelona would play their first Champions League match under interim coach Sergio Barjuan who had to replace Dutch legend Ronald Koeman for the time being before allegedly Xavi Hernandez could take over.

Although Barjuan started his time with a draw against Deportivo Alves in the last week in La Liga, Barcelona would hope to bolster their chances of qualification to the next round with a consecutive win against Dynamo Kyiv. The Barcelona camp had gone through a huge blow after Sergio Aguero was confirmed to be out for three months with cardiac issues after a check-up following the star’s discomfort during the Alaves encounter.

On the other hand, Manchester United will be desperate for a win against Atlanta , as Ole Gunner Solskjaer tries to reclaim his name and position in the club after shortly escaping getting dismissed sitting on a string of disappointing performances after a 3-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Christian Pulisic would be back in action tonight as Chelsea visit Malmo on their fourth Champions League matchday. Juventus will be taking on Zenit St Petersburg hoping to overcome the Sassuolo loss.

Real Madrid will be looking to overturn their home game woes as they host Shakhtar Donetsk who had previously defeated the Los Blancos at Bernabeu, as the latter would look to get the revenge of the 5-1 home loss.
