Kolkata : Servotech Siliguri Strikers mentor Wriddhiman Saha has displayed his love, for the team,which is also his home side.
Ahead of Bengal Pro T20 League 2025, Saha was selected as mentor of Siliguri Strikers’ men’s & women’s teams. His love and dedication for this side is to next level.
Regarding the feeling to mentor his home side Siliguri, Saha stated that he wants to keep good connection with the team as he got the chance to represent them. As a mentor , despite not being on field, he tries to share his experience to the players in order to groom and improve them day by day.
In an exclusive interview with Sportslight Media, Saha said, “I want to keep good connections with Siliguri (Servotech Siliguri Strikers), since I’m there as mentor and got the chance to represent the side. Although I won’t be able to come on field, I share experiences with them off field, try to make them understand and groom day by day on how to improve. The processes are on the way “.
Regarding importance of Bengal Pro T20 League in bringing out Bengal talents, he said, ” After the tournament (Bengal Pro T20 League), there’s good opportunity for the players. Previously only players who played Super Division would get priority to participate in senior Bengal team. But in this tournament , every kind of player gets chances to show talents ,so if they do better and perform to top level, they can contribute for Bengal in every age group thereby, progress in career “.
