UEFA Europa League : Scott McTominay’s late goal helps Manchester United move to 2nd spot, Arsenal win in Norway

Manchester : Manchester United win 1-0 against Cyprus side Omonois Nicosia in the Europa League on Thursday at Old Trafford. Scott McTominay scores into the stoppage time to give Red Devils move to the second spot of UEFA Europa League of Group E.

Nigeria international goalkeeper Francis Uzoho makes some amazing saves through out the game. In the first half, Casemiro hits on the post and it remains 0-0 at Old Trafford. But from Jadon Sancho assist in the 93rd minute, McTominay holds his nerve and converts into a goal. McTominay speaks to BT Sport and says “You have to be patient sometimes. Their goalkeeper was a different class but we created enough chances and deserved to score in the end.”

While in Norway, EPL league leaders secure their 3rd win in Europa League. Bukayo Saka scores for Arsenal to beat Bodø/Glimt 1-0 to stay at the top of Group A. Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta after the match says “I’m really happy with the win against a team that has won the last 14 games here at home.”
