UEFA Champions League 2020-2021 starts tonight with certain important games to look forward

Kiev : UEFA Champions League 2020-21 starts on Tuesday (October 20). Europe’s biggest club football competition comes into action from today. The first match will be played as Zenit will host Club Brugge. Juventus is set to travel to Ukraine , as Dynamo Kyiv start their UCL campaign against them.

The opening game-week will present the reigning champions Bayern Munich take on Atletico Madrid in their fortress Allianz Arena, besides that Chelsea will host UEFA Europa League Champions Sevilla in their home.

One of the high voltage matches to be played on the first game week will be Manchester United against Paris Saint Germain, in Parc des Princes in Paris. The last season’s finalist will be looking forward to start their campaign on a winning note and also avenge the last time they were knocked out by United in 2018-19.

Other than this Barcelona will host Ferencváros in Camp Nou and hope to perform better under their new coach Ronald Koeman, while Lazio will host Borussia Dortmund.

Ajax will host Liverpool, the reigning EPL champions another game to look out for. Besides these Real Madrid will host Shakhtar Donetsk and Manchester City will be playing FC Porto at their home in the opening game week.
