Thiago Silva plans to join Premier League side Chelsea; PSG offer to stay

Paris: PSG captain Thiago Silva has planned to leave the French capital after eight successful years. After their Champions League final loss to Bayern Munich on Sunday, the 36-year-old Brazilian made it clear in the press that he would leave the club this summer.

Chelsea have been keen to sign the Brazilian veteran on a two-year deal and worth of 6m pounds. Silva reportedly has accepted the offer of the London side and is ready to join the club for having Premier League experience in his illustrious career.

According to French newspaper L’Èquipe, PSG are willing to offer their club legend a deal to not to leave the club. They are a bit desperate to keep Silva on their side at least for another season. But as manager Thomas Tuchel might also leave the club it would be difficult for the French Champions to keep their captain in their side.

Silva unlike others had the dream to play in the English Premier League and according to report it’s just some days to happen in reality. Silva has won seven league titles, five consecutive Coupes Dey League and five Coupes Dey France. A successful stint as a player, leader and legend of PSG. It’s time to say Adios.
