Mumbai: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar made his Mumbai senior team debut on Friday (January 15) in an Elite E League group match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy against Haryana at Mumbai. The 21-year-old Arjun now qualified for the Indian Premier League auctions as he has made his debut for the Mumbai team.

The left-arm pacer was added to Mumbai’s senior team this season when BCCI extended the player limit from 20 to 22-member. Arjun was added to the squad along with Krutik Hanagavadi.

Arjun made his U-19 debut for Mumbai in 2017. Later he had also represented India U-19. He was first picked for India U-19 in June 2018 for two four-day matches in Sri Lanka.
He also travelled with the Indian national side to England and a couple of more series.
Over the years, Arjun has been playing for Mumbai in various age-group tournaments.
