Super Cup 2022: Real Madrid beat Eintracht Frankfrut to clinch 5th title

Helsinki : Karim Benzema became Real Madrid’s all-time second top scorer as the Champions League winners beat Eintracht Frankfurt to win the UEFA Super Cup. With 324 goals in the whites, the Frenchman is just behind Cristiano Ronaldo (450 goals).

David Alba find the net in the 37th minute. Benzema followed in the 65th minute following a pass from Vinicius. Madrid dominated throughout the game without having to exert themselves. Carlo Ancelotti fielded the same team that beat Liverpool in Paris. Eintracht had been more problematic to Madrid with their ddeep defense and counter quick tactic. However, Madrid took the game to the Europa League holders.
