Kolkata : Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced Squad for T20I series against India on July 23.
As reported by Sportslightmedia before, Charith Asalanka replaces Wanindu Hasaranga as T20I skipper. He recently led Jafna Kings to 4th LPL title
The squad sees senior players like Angelo Mathews, Dhananjay Di Silva missing out, while Kushal Perera and Dinesh Chandimal making a comeback in T20I after 2022.
Sadeera Samarawickrama and Dilshan Madhushanka also drop out of the squad, with selectors instead opting for the likes of Chamindu Wickramasinghe, Binura Fernando and Avishka Fernando.
All three matches will take place in Pallekele, with the opening contest scheduled for July 27 and the following games set for July 28 and July 30.
