Manchester: Former Manchester United boss , Sir Alex Ferguson was seen denouncing current boss Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s decision of starting Cristiano Ronaldo at the bench against Everton.

“I know, but you should always start with your best players.” – Sir Alex was caught on cameras saying this to martial arts star, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Ole had benched Ronaldo and instead started Anthony Martial and Edison Cavani. Although Anthony Martial did find the net, Manchester United had struggled for quite some time. Ronaldo was brought in at the 58th minute but soon after the team conceded and were forced to share the points.

While this was happening Sir Alex was seen really disappointed in Ronaldo being benched, who is known to find nets and get his team important goals even through the tightest of situations.

The video clip that has been all over the social media began midway through the conversation, with Ferguson saying: “I also think that when they saw Ronaldo wasn’t playing…”

Nurmagomedov reminded him that Ronaldo entered in the second half before Ferguson interjected, replying: “I know, but you should always start with your best players.”

Sir Alex still holds a huge impact in the most important decisions of the club and his discontent with Ole might bring a huge pressure on the head coach who had also played under Sir Alex at time. Ole had failed to give expected results with a squad so deep for quite sometime now and that have garnered a lot of criticism. Ole’s work is going to get tougher post the international break as the Red Devils are set to face Liverpool and Manchester City.
