Ruben Dias wins the PFA Player of the Year after an incredible season

Manchester : Ruben Dias was announced as the PFA Player of the Year during his debut season in Premier League under Pep Guardiola as Manchester City won the Premier League title and reached the UEFA Champions League Final.

The Portuguese signed for the Blue Manchester side from Benfica, and his contribution was undeniable as City made a complete turn around in their league journey. City registered just one win in their first three games but went on to boast a 21 game win streak across all competitions, which included 15 consecutive wins in the English Premier league.

He joined from Benfica for £65m, last summer from then he made 32 appearance for the Citizens. He scored one goal and helped his team maintain 15 clean sheets. Guardiola paired him with John Stones at the heart of his backline which helped his team concede just 32 goals in total in the Premier league.
