London: Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand revealed his opinion on the best player in the Premier League at the time. Ferdinand termed Liverpool star, Mohammad Salah to be the best in the league even ahead of the likes of Kevin De Brunye and Jorginho.

Salah found an exceptional goal last week against Manchester City in a highly strung encounter , while the goal was cancelled by De Brunye soon, Ferdinand was entirely amazed by the goal. Evidently displaying his amazement, he said:

“His goal was like being on FIFA, that chop, I’ve done that many times on FIFA where you pretend to whip it top corner and then you chop it back. Playground skills. Salah is scoring goals that are helping Liverpool win Premier League and Champions League titles.”

“What I like about Liverpool was they started terribly and they reacted at half-time, came out a different animal. The first-half Liverpool couldn’t get out and City could have had two or three first half, I think City will be disappointed not to win and Liverpool happy with a draw.” added Ferdinand.

While the encounter was termed to be title deciding , which might seem a little over the top, the tie did not disappoint. As two very sharp coaches coincided , Salah , Sadio Mane , De Brunye and Phil Foden found their names featured on the scoresheet.

Manchester United had a real faulty start along with some shaky moments, Liverpool are yet to be on the losing end and the season seems to be a very tightly contested ones as the top four are not backing down from challenges.
