Paris: French star kid Kylian Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari had given a very important direction about her son’s future in the French team. She said that they have been talking about a renewal with the Ligue1 giants.
“We are talking right now with PSG and all is well,” Lamari said when asked about her son’s future.
Mbappé’s future at Paris Saint-Germain has been subjected to much speculations amidst the forward’s desire to leave and the keen Real Madrid interests. Real Madrid were even ready to pay £200m for the forward but PSG being confident on Mbappé choosing to stay had refused the offers persistently.
I spoke last night with [PSG sporting director] Leonardo. Will we reach a solution? One thing is clear. He is going to give everything until the end to win the Champions League.” added Lamari.
Lamari said her son will make a decision based on his happiness.
“Kylian needs to be happy. If he is sad, he is capable of saying, I give it up,” she said jokingly: “And he says that often. With Kylian, everything can change from one day to the next. ”
Although revealing to have told the club about his desires to leave, Mbappé didn’t rule out the prospect of continuing in the club itself.
It’s a club that’s given me a lot,” he said. “I’ve always been happy during the four years I’ve been here and I still am.”
While the matter of Mbappé’s continuation is still in somewhat in blur, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo openly denounced the behaviour of Real Madrid towards Mbappé, accusing them of unruly persuation that show their ‘lack of respect’ towards the club
“In the same week, we’ve had a Real Madrid player [Karim Benzema], the coach [Carlo Ancelotti] and now the president of Real Madrid speak of Kylian as if it was their own player , it’s a lack of respect that we can’t tolerate,” Leonardo told L’Equipe.
“Kylian is a PSG player and the club understands perfectly that this relationship will last.”
Mbappé’s have had a fairly good season until now , finding the net thrice, setting up five more goals in 11 appearances. He infact even set Lionel Messi up for his debut goal and even with the speculations of his fights with teammate Neymar, Mbappé seems pretty content at his place.
