Madrid : Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer saga seems unending as the Manchester United Star wants to play for a club that can challenge for top honours. Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League last season. Cristiano Ronaldo will be missing out on 2022-23 Champions League football. The Portuguese captain is keen to join a new club.

When Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was asked  by a fan if the club is into the thoughts of re-signing Ronaldo once again, he said, “Sign Ronaldo?”. “Again? He’s 38-years-old.”

Ronaldo’s old club Real Madrid has surely moved away from the aging star. However, the striker continues to don the Man United jersey. Ronaldo had joined the club last year, for a two-year contract, but couldn’t prevent United from sinking further as they ended at the sixth position in the previous EPL season.
On a controversial Instagram post, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister Katia Averio is believed to reply, ” He’s 38-years old, but he can jump 2 meters high in the air and stay in the air for 3 minutes and his body has no fat, respect yourself, old man. You are 75.”

Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes have said and written plenty about Ronaldo’s transfer saga, having held talks with Bayern Munich, PSG, Chelsea, Athletico Madrid, etc. However, nothing has come out of all discussions. Ronaldo is carrying on with the Red Devils although reports suggest that the 37-year-old is desperate to leave.
