St Lucia: Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan became the youngest as well as the fastest bowler to scalp 300 wickets in T20 cricket on Thursday (August 20) for Barbados Trident in a Caribbean Premier League encounter. The 21-year-old achieved the milestone when he got rid of his compatriot and St. Lucia Zouk all-rounder Mohammad Nabi.

Recently playing for the Trident, the Afghan phenomenon, has played for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia. He is also one of the key players of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. He will be joining his team in the UAE when the tournament begins.

Batting first, the Barbados Trident managed 131/7 in 20 overs, but a rain break between the innings shortened the target for Zouks to 47 runs in 5 overs. With some quick runs from Rakheem Cornwall, Andre Fletcher and Mohammad Nabi, they reached the target in 4.1 overs.
