Aichi : India’s men’s skeet team of Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mairaj Ahmed Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill secured the bronze medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday after prevailing over Kazakhstan in a shoot-off.
The Indian trio finished level with Kazakhstan on 346 points in the men’s skeet team event, but held their nerve in the shoot-off to finish third and claim the medal.
Naruka also advanced to the men’s skeet individual final after producing a strong performance in qualification. The final is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM IST.
The medal came on a productive day for India in shooting, with the country’s men’s and women’s skeet teams both securing bronze medals. Raiza Dhillon, Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Maheshwari Chauhan had earlier finished third in the women’s skeet team event with a combined score of 331. China won gold with 346 points, while Kazakhstan took silver.
