Milan : Radja Nainggolan returns to Serie A, before the start of the season. Nainggolan went to his former club Cagliari on a loan deal, when his wife was diagnosed with cancer last year. The Belgian made this decision so that he could spend more time with her.
Claudia Nainggolan, who is settled in Sardina, Italy, announced that she was fighting with cancer through her instagram post previous year. She under went chemotherapy session, and this year she announced on instagram that she won the battle against cancer.
Earlier this year Nainggolan on being asked about his wife, expressed his concern towards passing coronavirus to her, in her already delicate conditions. Italy was one of the worst hit countries by the pandemic and Nainggolan took extra precautions to stay safe and his wife avoided hospital visits during the time when the pandemic peaked.
The 32 year old now has returned to Inter Milan, but he has been heavily linked to PSG. The Nerazzurri’s have a wide range of options for their midfield and he might be out of favour. A move to PSG has been reported by certain sources, the Ligue 1 champions might strike a deal with Inter. Nainggolan played a total of 29 matches during his loan spell in Cagliari and scored 6 times.
