Paris : Indian Badminton Youngster Lakshya Sen dominated World Number 4 , Asian Games 2018 Gold Medal winner , Indonesian Jonatan Christie & qualified for Round of 16. The win came in 50 minutes with a margin 21-18 , 21-12.
In 1st Round, Lakshya was on backfoot trailing 0-5. However , he came back strongly , 1st levelling 8-8 , then leading 11-9 , and finishing the set on 21-18 after a fierce battle.
The 1st round boosted his morale and he completely dominated Jonatan in 2nd round, winning it 21-12 one sidedly.
Lakshya , being underdog and winning it will take this confidence in Round of 16 against his own teammate H.S. Prannoy.
