Pakistan captain Babar Azam celebrates India win in a special way

Dubai: Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, played a brilliant inning and scripted history by defeating rivals India for the first time in the history of the World Cup. Now after the sweet victory against India, Azam has taken a noble step.

Babar Azam has decided to educate 250 deserving students in partnership with education platform Noon. Azam, 27, said that this initiative is dedicated to his father and role model Muhammad Azam and Saya Corporation. Azam also announced that a fund of 2 million Pakistani rupees will be allocated for this platform.

Pakistan got off to a dream start in T20 World Cup 2021 by beating the formidable Indian side comprehensively by 10 wickets in their tournament opener in Dubai on Sunday. Significantly, Babar Azam played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs off 52 balls against India. Apart from him, the second opener Mohammad Rizwan was also unbeaten on 79 runs.  Pakistan continued their unbeaten run as they beat New Zealand by 5 wickets in Sharjah on Tuesday, registering their second victory of T20 WC.
