Joining the Reds in 2017, Salah was termed as a one-season wonder, but he had made the tag overturn in such a splendid manner that one could only dream. In his debut season for the Reds, Salah scored 32 times in 24 matches against 17 different teams beating Cristiano Ronaldo’s 31 goals. He not only outscored players but he outscored three different teams- West Brom(31), Swansea (28), and Huddersfield (28). Salah became the first player to win three consecutive PL Player of the Month.

As high his 2017 was, Salah had an amazing start to the season. Scoring on Liverpool’s opening encounter against Norwich City, Salah became the first player to score in five consecutive openers. At the same time, he became the player to reach 100 goals fastest-in just 151 wins. With his superb hat-trick against Manchester United, this Sunday Salah overcame Didier Drogba to become the highest-scoring African in the Premier League with 107 goals.

Salah’s struggles and the way he takes his career graph upwards every day deserves to be known off. Lest Salah keeps his momentum, Salah is set to go down in history as one of the best Egyptians to grace the game, if not the best.
