Tokyo: India’s Manu Bhaker shot 290 in the women’s 25m Pistol Rapid qualification event to fall short by just two points ending her journey at the Tokyo Olympics at the Asaka Shooting Range on Friday.

The top eight shooters qualify for the final. Kim also had a couple more inner tens (19x) against Bhaker’s 17x.

Another India in the event, Rahi Sarnobat also made her way out of the Tokyo Olympics, finishing a lowly 32nd in the field of 44 shooters finishing with 573 (287+286). Sarnobat was at 25th position on Friday at the end of the Precision stage.

World No.2 Sarnobat shot 96, 97, and 94 in the three precision rounds following it up with 96, 94, 96 in three rapid-fire rounds. She did produce the desired inner 10s but was separated by a few mis-hits of 6, 7, and 8.
