Manchester United eyeing another striker in January

Manchester: Manchester United are currently looking for another striker ahead of the winter transfer window in January.

United were held by Leicester City 2-2 at their home in the last match, exposing their weakness of getting crucial goals due to lack of good solid strikers. Though they bought Edinson Cavani ahead of start of this season, but the Uruguayan no.9 has been in and out of the squad finding his time to get used to the Premier League.

There have been rumours about signing young English striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. As per reports from the Express, the involvement of super agent Mino Riola would see the Red Devils make their move to an alternative to earlier option of getting Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, who was closely monitored by Ole Gunner Solskjaer when they both were in their native Norway.

Meanwhile Calvert-Lewin has been in great form in this season for Everton scoring 11 goals in the Premier League in the 15 matches he has played and a price tag of 75m Euros could possibly lock the deal for United as they desperately need a striker to strengthen their squad.
