Kolkata : Defending champion Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers defeated Murshidabad Kweens by 4 runs in JU Campus, Kolkata in Semi Final 1 of Bengal Pro T20 League 2025, to qualify into their 2nd consecutive final.
Kolkata, Batting first, saw captain Mita Paul (45) and Ankita Mahato (37) smash big runs but lower order didn’t add any thus the team got restricted to 114/6 in rain curtailed game of 18 overs.
Murshidabad openers Trishita Sarkar (49) and Sushmita Ganguly (14) notched 49 runs opening stand. Tanushree Sarkar (20), skipper Gopal Prativa (17) tried hard till the end but Kolkata bowlers proved too much economical and in the last over , Monika Mal defended 9 runs conceding only 5 as a result, Kolkata won by 4 runs to qualify into final.
