New Delhi: Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has suffered a heart attack last month and had undergone angioplasty surgery at a hospital in New Delhi. The operation was successful and he was discharged from the hospital only a few days later.

The former India captain and one of the finest all-rounders that the cricket world has ever produced, Kapil led India to their first World Cup triumph in 1983. On Thursday (November 12) he posted a video of himself on Twitter seen playing golf, and saying that he is feeling good and is looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

“You can’t express in words what fun it is to be back on the golf course or a cricket ground. It is beautiful to be back at the golf course, having fun and playing with friends. That’s what life is all about,” Kapil posted a video message on his Twitter handle.

Kapil has been an eager amateur golfer since his retirement from international cricket back in 1994 and also taken part in many events over the years. He was back to his residence in a couple of days and since then has kept his fans posted and up-to-date about his health condition and also started his job as a TV analyst for a reputative channel.
