Rome: Lazio kept it late to deny Juventus three points as they drew 1-1 against defending champions at the Stadio Olympico on Sunday (October 8). Juventus lined up in a 3-4-3 formation with Danilo acting as a centre-back. Cristiano Ronaldo shared the attack with Alvaro Morata and Dejan Kulusevski.

Both the sides had their fare share of possession. It eventually led to opener when Juan Cuadrado’s whipping cross found Ronaldo in the box who tapped it in.
Lazio in the second half though started to show their intent especially after Felipe Caicedo came on. It looked like a guaranteed three points for Juventus. But Lazio clinched it in the stoppage time. When Carlos Correa went on his own through the Juventus players laying it off for Caicedo who slotted it past Szczesny spoiling the party of the defending champions.
Juventus now at the third position and will face Cagliari on November 22.
