Late goals from Manchester City help them avoid a humiliation in FA Cup

Cheltenham : Manchester City avoided FA Cup humiliation after their late comeback against Cheltenham after going 1-0 down. Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres scored late to turn the match and won the match 3-1.

 Foden, Jesus and Torres struck in the final nine minutes on minutes 81,84 and stoppage time respectively to claim the  victory and they will now face Swansea in the fifth round of FA cup.

The League Two team who are sitting 72 places below City but went toe-to-toe with their visitors, with Michael Duff’s men leading until the late recovery. Alfie May’s opener on 59 minutes almost earned his team a stunning upset at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

 “We were a bit slow at times in the first half, but it was all down to them, they played really well and made it hard for us. They had a good shape. We’re really glad to get the win. In the end we got the goals. There’s no better feeling than scoring, I’m just enjoying it at the moment,” Phil Foden said to the media after the match.
