Kolkata : Kidderpore Sporting Club outclassed Aryan Club by 7 wickets in the summit clash at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake, on Sunday to emerge champions of CAB First Division Senior Knock-Out One Day Tournament.
Aryan Club Batting first posted 244 runs in 46.4 overs. Aditya Purohit smashed an amazing 125 (109). Vishal Bhati (54) also scored half century. However, Kidderpore pacer Saksham Sharma bagged 3 wickets, while Shuvam Dey Sr picked 4-fer , playing important role in bundling out Aryan to 244 in 46.4 overs.
Chasing 245 runs, Kidderpore’s Aditya Sharma (66) and Saurabh Singh (54) smashed half century to guide them past the target in 42.5 overs. From Aryan, Vishal Bhati (2/29) yet again displayed good bowling performance but couldn’t stop Kidderpore from winning the title.
