Kevin O’Brien’s incredible hit for a six shatters his own car window

Dublin: All-rounder Kevin O’ Brien’s talent to hit the ball hard and long is well-known as he has portrayed at the international level. Kevin got renowned during the 2011 World Cup against England in Bengaluru as he smashed a hundred off 50 deliveries to knock out England.

During the match against North West Warriors at Pembroke for Leinster Lightning, Kevin thrashed 82 off 37 deliveries. The whirlwind knock contained eight sixes that send his side to an impressive 124 in only 12 overs.

 

However, one over boundary had a huge influence as the ball ended up hitting his own car. It lead to smashed window of Kevin’s four-wheeler. Cricket Ireland took to their official Twitter and uploaded the photo of his car.

The right-handed batsman is one of the most skillful Irish cricketers, who has played more than 250 international games for his country. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2006 and has since then appeared in 148 ODIs, 96 T20Is, and three Tests.

He was also one of the 11 cricketers to play in Ireland’s first ever Test match, against Pakistan in May 2018, also scoring the first Test century for Ireland men’s team.
