Kerala Blasters FC announced that it has agreed to bring in Bryce Miranda from Churchill Brothers FC for an undisclosed sum. The 22-year-old has signed a multi-year deal with the club that will keep him there until 2026. The club has previously announced several long-term extensions. Bryce’s addition will provide the squad a boost as they look to improve on last season’s ISL runner-up finish. Bryce will join his teammates in Kochi for the start of the preseason.

“It feels amazing to join Kerala Blasters. It is a club that I have wanted to be a part of for a while. It has the best fans in the country. I can’t wait to be in Kochi and meet my new teammates and play in front of The Yellow Army.” said a thrilled Bryce Miranda upon signing with his new club.

Miranda began his professional career with Mumbai FC, where he played across all age groups up to the U18 level. After that, he played for Union Bank FC for a brief time before joining FC Goa’s developmental team in 2018. A year later, he joined Income Tax FC, where he had a breakout season in the 2019 Elite division, scoring three goals and giving ten assists.

In the Elite Division, his energising, lung-busting, and fascinating performances drew a lot of attention. Bryce was eventually signed by Churchill Brothers FC of the Goan I-League in 2020, after receiving a lot of interest from numerous ISL and I-league clubs. He made 33 appearances for the club and was regarded as an important member of the Goan side that had been vying for the I-League title for the previous two seasons. During this period, he also recorded two goals and four assists.

Bryce’s outstanding performances in the I-League earned him a call-up to the U23 National Team for the Asian Cup Qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates.

Several long-term contracts have already been revealed by the club. Bryce’s signing will boost the squad as they attempt to improve on last season’s ISL runner-up result in the upcoming season. At the start of the preseason, Bryce will join his teammates in Kochi.
