London: WWE icon and renowned television presenter John Cena on Saturday posted a candid picture of India team skipper Virat Kohli on his social media handle leaving his fans confused.

Many people from different fields like Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, England football team captain Harry Kane and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have shown their admiration and support for Virat Kohli.

The wrestling superstar posted an uncaptioned picture and took social media by storm. If you follow the WWE icon on Instagram, you may be aware of the fact that he shares different pictures without giving any context. In fact, his Instagram bio reads, “Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy.” Without breaking the approach he did the same.

The minute he posted the picture of the talismanic batsman, the comment section got flooded in no time as fans started assuming if John Cena is a is a Virat Kohli fan. With the historic clash being around the corner, majority of fans speculated that he is rooting for Virat Kohli-led Team India in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand. “Cena supporting India for WTC2021,” wrote a fan. “Looks like John Cena is a fan of Virat as well,” wrote another fan. Meanwhile, the WTC final will get underway on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

This is not the first time that Virat Kohli has featured on John Cena’s Instagram post. In fact, the former WWE Champion had shared a post of the Captain mysteriously exchanging handshakes after team India’s final league match against Sri Lanka during the 2019 World Cup in England.

The WWE superstar has not participated in any wrestling match since Wrestle-Mania 36. He is currently focusing more on his acting career. The fans are eagerly waiting to see Cena at his best doing action sequences in the next part of the popular movie franchise ‘Fast & Furious 9’, which is slated for release later this year.
