Bengaluru: Alan Costa strike in the 87th minute to secure win from NorthEast United. Bengaluru FC won 1-0 in their opening match of Indian Super League (ISL).

Hernandez came in as a alternate for Fijian striker Roy Krishna. The Brazilian defender headed the corner from Javier Hernandez at the far post to register full points for the Blues.

Bengaluru could have gone ahead in the 78th minute when Indian international Udanta Singh had received a ball at the edge of the North East penalty box. However his shot sailed over the cross-bar.
