Kochi: Kerala Blasters FC is all set to start off the Indian Super League campaign against ATK Mohun Bagan from 19th November 2021 (Saturday) at 9:30 pm IST. Before that, the Blasters tied up with India’s top digital payment platform and financial company PhonePe.
The football club announced the association with PhonePe, as its official payment partner for Indian Super League (ISL). The company agreed on terms that their logo is going to be displayed on the KBFC jersey, which will be put on by ‘The Tuskers’.
Encouraging the new generation companies, KBFC director Nikhil Bhardwaj said, “It gives KBFC an immense pleasure to welcome PhonePe to the Blasters family.” According to Mr. Bhardwaj, PhonePe is introducing a digital transformation in people’s lifestyles and shares the same vision as KBFC ‘to make people’s lives better through technology and sport’.
PhonePe Director-Brand Marketing Ramesh Srinivasan said, “In the Kerala market, Football and KBFC are big passion points and we are excited about this partnership.” PhonePe welcomed the opportunity to be a part of the cultural fabric of Kerala and contribute meaningfully by bringing digital platforms for all.

Kerala Blasters won their last Durand Match against the Indian Navy after a troublesome start. Standing as the group leaders, KBFC will face Bengaluru FC on September 15, 2021 (Wednesday) at 3:00 pm IST.
