Goa: After coming from defeats in their opening game, NorthEast United FC and Kerala Blasters shared spoils with a 0-0 scoreline in a match in the Indian Super League(ISL) at the Fatorda stadium in Goa on Thursday. Kerala blowed their chance to earn full-points as they failed to capitalise multiple goal scoring opportunities throughout the game.

The Highlanders got their early chances through Deshron Brown and Khassa Camara both of whom were set-up by VP Suhair while the best one through a free-kick by Hernan Santana that went inches over the bar above after Deshorn was taken down by Enes Sipovic. While Blasters got their chance in the second half through Vincy Barretto who struck it from outside the box after getting assisted by Jorge Pereyra.

Sahal Abdul Samad missed a golden opportunity earlier before that slotting it wide of the post after getting the ball from Vincy who made a surging run after winning the ball before squared it into the box.

Kerala’s best chance of the evening though came towards the later part of the half after Nishu found his teammate Alvaro Vazquez with superb pass but the Spaniard was unable finish his header with spectacular save coming form NEUFC goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury which meant Kerala left the field scratching their heads.
