Jorge(53′) skilled to evade Anirudh Thapa and fire home. Ortiz achieved ISL 2021-22 season’s first hattrick as a effervescent Dohling got past a few defenders to nudge the ball in the path of the Spaniard. Ortiz sublimed the first touch to take the ball away from Narayan as he charged forward to rifle home from close.

Chennaiyin lost the grip halfway through
Chennaiyin lost grip of the game and posed no threat to FC Goa. As the halftime striked, Noguera floated in a delightful ball inside the box. Narayan Das (45′) under-pressure put it into his own net to cap off his team’s half. Goa dominated the second half as Chennaiyin failed to cluster any real opportunity in front of goal.
