Turin : Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer of 2018 from Real Madrid, the transfer was for a humongous £100 million. Cristiano, who won four UEFA Champions League title with Madrid and one with Manchester United, wanted to do the same with Juventus.

The recent pandemic has hit all the clubs and brought troubles financially, every team is struggling with their finances and Juventus is no exception to that. Cristiano earns a whooping €31 million (£28 million) per season salary. This is five times the salary of Paulo Dybala, who is Juve’s second highest earner.

The five times Ballon d’Or winner, still produces match winning performances for his team and  scored 71 goals in 94 games for Juventus. Although after the recent hit of the pandemic, Juventus is rumoured to let go off Cristiano whose contract expires in June 2022. A swap between Ronaldo to Paris and Neymar to Juventus is also among the transfer rumours which have popped up recently.

Juventus would be be aiming to offload his stunning wage-bill as the player turns 36 next February. This would help them further with new signings.

If so is the case for Cristiano, he might just head back to Manchester United or play in Ligue 1 with PSG. Only time can tell.
