Mumbai : After releasing the schedule of the much-awaited 13th edition of IPL, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally released the official anthem for this edition of the Indian Premier League. Sharing the video on their official twitter account IPL wrote, “The greater the setback. The stronger the comeback. We can sum it up in 3 words: AayengeHumWapas, Watch #Dream11IPL starting Sept 19 on @DisneyPlusHS, @StarSportsIndia @Hotstarusa #Dream11IPL #AayengeHumWapas #StrongerTogether  #Anthem.”

The 1 minute 33 seconds anthem is titled as ‘Ayenge Hum Wapas’. The anthem is very  catchy and perfectly captures the mood of the nation. This year IPL 2020  will be played from September 19 to November 10 in  the UAE.

Meanwhile, on Monday (September 7) rapper KR$NA has accused IPL for plagiarism by copying his rap. He took the Twitter to insist that IPL has plagiarised his song “Dekh Kaun Aaya Waapas” and created the anthem for this year’s tournament without his consent or giving him the credit. His rap was released in 2017.

Hey guys, @IPL has plagiarised my song “Dekh Kaun Aaya Waapas” and created “Aayenge Hum Wapas” as this years anthem without credit or consent. I request my fellow artists and friends on twitter to RT this tweet for awareness, they can not get away with this. @DisneyPlusHS,” he wrote.

Here is the rap released by him in 2017.
