Mohali: Former India skipper Virat Kohli reached the 100th Test landmark when Rohit Sharma & Co took the field for the 1st Test against Sri Lanka at the IS Bindra Stadium on March 4. The 33-year-old cricketer became the 12th Indian cricketer to have achieved the feat.

Cricket fans were expecting a century from the star cricketer in his 100th Test, but he could only scored 45 runs and got clean bowled. Kohli was looking in solid form, but
Lasith Embuldeniya bowled Virat Kohli in the 44th over. Kohli was trying to defend the ball by coming forward, but the ball hit the edge of the bat and went to the off-stump. Kohli returned after scoring 45 runs in 76 balls.

Meanwhile, an interesting incident has happened. A twitter user named @Quick__Single shared a post on the micro-blogging site with the handle  at 12:46 pm, whose recent tweet left fans amazed on Friday. In the tweet it was already said that Virat (100th Test) will not be able to score a century, and he will got out on 45. The user did not just accurately predicted Kohli’s score, he has also written that Lasith Ambuldeniya will take his wicket and his wicket would leave him in disbelief. Surprisingly that is exactly what happened.

After Kohli’s wicket, people are quite surprised as this tweet surfaced on the micro-blogging site. Now maybe it is just a coincidence, but there has been a debate going on about it on Twitter. Reacting to this prediction, former cricketer Virender Sehwag has also written Wow.

Here’s a look at the tweet:

Earlier in the day, India opted to bat first after Rohit Sharma won the toss in his first Test match as captain. The openers managed a 52-run stand before Rohit was dismissed for 29. India lost Mayank Agarwal for 33. Kohli then partnerd with Hanuma Vihari to stitch a unbeaten 90-run stand in Mohali. India finished with 199 for 4 at Tea.
