New Delhi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl on Monday (January 11), afternoon.
Kohli took to his social media handle to share the happy news with his fans, he wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”

The news of the baby’s arrival is sure to bring the widest smiles to the faces of ‘Virushka’ fans, as their fans address them fondly. From celebrities to colleague and fans thronged the post with congratulatory messages. Virat and Anushka announced in August 2020 that they are adding another member to the family.
Sharing the news on their respective social media handle, they had written, “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021.”
Kohli, who has been a part of domestic and international cricketing tours returned home from Australia after taking part in three ODIs, three T20Is and first Test of the ongoing four-match series. As BCCI granted him paternity leave upon request. He has been by the side of his wife Anushka Sharma since then.
