Kolkata : Pakistan outclassed Bangladesh in a must win encounter by 7 wickets at Eden Gardens. They end their 4 Match losing streak and remain alive in the tournament.
Chasing 205, Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique built up a blistering 128 runs stand. The duo didn’t hold and back and played aggressive Cricket.
Fakhar’s 81(74), Shafique’s 68(69) scripted Pakistan’s 3rd win of the tournament, as a result they kept their semi final hopes alive.
In the 1st innings, Pakistan pacers demolished Bangladesh Batting line up. Shaheen Afridi removed Tanzid Hasan, Shanto quickly at start.
Despite valiant efforts from Liton Das(45) ,Shakib Al Hasan(43) and Mahmudullah(56), Bangladesh kept losing wickets.
