Antigua: India extended their dominance in the U19 World Cups by earning a record-extending fifth title on Saturday night in Antigua. There have been numerous standout performances for India in their immaculate march to the U19 World Cup title 2022, but there was one who made a half-century with India’s new ODI captain’s bat.
Nishant Sindhu, who was superb, led his team to win with a controlled 50 not out off 54 balls, while nerves began to seep in when a couple of wickets fell quickly.
Sindhu drew notice for two reasons: first, for his mature dealing, and second, for the bat he used to score. He wrote history with Rohit Sharma’s bat and lit up the match. While he was sitting on the bench waiting for his turn to showcase his skills in that highly intense encounter, all the cameras were on that bat- NISHANT SHARMA was scribbled on India’s hitman ROHIT SHARMA’S BAT.
5⃣0⃣-run stand! 👍 👍
A vital half-century partnership between Raj Bawa and Nishant Sindhu as India U19 move to 152/4 in the chase. 👏 👏
Will the two take #BoysInBlue home? #U19CWC #INDvENG

Perhaps both skills and beliefs of the senior led Sindhu to achieve that feat. And it was highly exceptional due to the Covid-19 scenario.
