Yan Law’s team started on a high note with former Delhi FC striker Dipanda Dicka bringing legit problems for the Punjab side. However, David Lalhlansanga opened the scoring for Aizwal in the 20th minute. It took RoundGlass Punjab 18 more minutes to find the equalizer through CK Vineeth. However, 20 years old Ramhlunchhunga scored two minutes later to restore the lead. Joseba Beitia scored from an awarded spot-kick to restore the parity for men in orange, before going into the break.

Elsewhere,at Naihati, I-League debutantes, Rajasthan United FC played out a goal less stalemate against Sudeva Delhi FC in a rather lack-luster affair. Both the teams had failed to create clear-cut chances though out the match. The lack of creativity from both sides meant both teams moved on to the next game with a solitary point. Souvick Das from Sudeva was awarded Hero of the Match.
The points have been shared between @RajasthanUnited and @SudevaDelhi as the game remains deadlocked
