Manchester: Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend Harriet Robson has accused the Manchester United footballer of domestic violence. Harriet took to social media, where she posted the pictures and videos of her wounds and bruises and captioned them “to everyone who wants to know what Mason Greenwood actually does to me”.
The pictures and the videos had been heavily shared across all social media platforms by the fans in no time. The situation turned into awful as per reports and rumors as Manchester United came to know about the allegations and Greenwood might face suspension or other severe actions.
The English footballer is yet to react to the allegations that had spread like wildfire and made him the talk of the town as of January 30, 2022. In one of the posts, Greenwood’s girlfriend mentioned all the bruises are a result of physical violence inflicted by Greenwood.
Fans from around the world have been of the opinion that Greenwood would be punished for his actions like the Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, who was accused of several counts of rape. They believe he would get prison time and may also serve a suspension from football.
However, it is yet to be seen what finally happens to the star. No official statement has been issued either by the player or the club addressing the aforementioned situation. Although, football fans around the world have raised the occasion as domestic violence is a growing crime in today’s society. They have upheld the fact strict action must be taken against the player if proven guilty.
As per reports, Manchester United is set to terminate the contract of Mason Greenwood if he is proven guilty of the accusation of domestic violence on his girlfriend.
