Manchester: Ole Gunner Solskjaer would be under immense pressure as the Red Devils get a visit from arch-rivals Liverpool on October 24 at the Old Trafford.

Following a string of disappointing performances and a very narrow Champions League win, against Atlanta, Ole’s job has been in jeopardy, as the team has slipped to the sixth position, however, it is going to get a lot harder for the manager as a high soaring Reds visit them.

Liverpool has been unbeaten in their last 14 games and packed with confidence after routing Claudio Reineri’s Watford with a Roberto Firmino hat-trick and goals from Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mané. The drama of the scenes will reach its zenith however when the attacking trio competes with Cristiano Ronaldo on the opposite side.

The job will get a little difficult for Ole with Fred, Marcus Rashford, and Bruno Fernandes in doubt for the clash after injuries against Atlanta. However, a midfield pair of Scot Mc Tominay and Paul Pogba would provide the needed pivot to the team. As for Liverpool, the would not be much without any important player, but this clash might see the fan-favorite Curtis Jones back in action. Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott still seem to be sidelined following their injuries along with Diogo Jota that paved the way back for Firmino, who has not disappointed at all with 10 goals.

In other important encounters of the matchday nine, Chelsea will host Norwich City at home, while Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City pays a visit to Brighton City.

Tottenham will be facing West Ham United at the same time when, Leicester City, after routing Manchester United the last matchday takes on Brentford.

Earlier the same day, Crystal Palace and Leeds United will be facing Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively. At the same time will also see Everton lock horns with Watford and Southampton taking on Burnley.
