Kolkata : Harbour Diamonds defeated Murshidabad Kings by 5 wickets at Eden Gardens to secure their maiden victory in Bengal Pro T20 history. It is to be noted that they finished winless last season.
Batting first, Murshidabad posted total of 147-8 (20) with help of cameos of Saksham Chaudhary (31) and Toufik Uddin Mondal (30*). Saurabh Singh (39) also played a vital anchoring knock.
From Harbour, Geet Puri, Subham Sarkar and Kaushik Maity picked 2-fers.
Chasing 148 runs, Harbour lost Priyank Patel off first Ball of the innings.
However, V. S Bhatti (30), Chandradhas Das (61), Abhishek Raman (21), P. R. Barman (24) guided Harbour Diamonds past the target with 3 Balls to spare.
